This is a series of 2+2 x 7,500m3 LNG bunkering vessels initially ordered by Stolt-Nielsen at Keppel Nantong. The vessels will be owned and operated by Avenir LNG, a JV between Stolt-Nielsen, Golar LNG and Höegh LNG. The vessels are designed by MES, and the two cylindrical cargo tanks (type C) are built at Gas&Heat Spa. in Italy. LNT Marine supplies the insulation for the cargo tanks and the main job is executed at Gas&Heat’s premises in Italy, before shipment to Keppel for installation onboard the vessels. The vessels are classed by DNV GL.
